Quality programs

Our quality programs aid JB Labs employees in achieving the highest levels of quality at every step.

The Do It Right the First Time initiative encourages quality awareness and rewards quality excellence in individual departments. "Do it Right" increases efficiencies and productivity through reduction in rework and product loss. Departmental and individual goals are designed to encourage all our employees to Do It Right the First Time.

Focus meetings are held monthly and include employees with birthdays during the month, bringing together company executives with a group of employees from all levels and departments within the company. The open discussion format allows employees to informally discuss issues concerning themselves, their departments or any segment of the company. At JB Labs, Valuactive thinking occurs at every level of the company, and every team member's voice is heard and respected.

Audits
In the normal course of business, regulatory agencies and customers routinely audit our facility. We stay Valuactive by conducting additional, internal audits and employing outside consultants as necessary. These additional audits help us further evaluate our systems and continue to maintain a high level of compliance with both government and customer requirements. Feedback from all audits is used to continuously improve the quality of our operation.

The ACTION (Awareness, Communication, Training, Information, Open dialogue, Now) initiative helps turn incidents into learning opportunities. Every incident is reviewed with the entire company for discussion of what went wrong and what it cost; most importantly, we discuss what we can do to prevent a similar incident in the future.
